Navigating Sleepless Nights
Hello friend!
One of the most challenging parts of new parenthood is dealing with sleepless nights. It can be difficult to adjust to functioning on less sleep and dealing with a crying newborn. Remember, this phase of your baby’s life is temporary and you really just have to push past it. This lesson is about giving your some tools and emotional support, knowing that this period is not forever. While this may be one of the most trying times in parenthood, this time will pass and eventually you will come up with a new normal. Take a listen.
Remember, it will get easier as your baby adjusts and grows. They won’t wake up as frequently because their bodies are getting used to feeding more at once and will wake up less often. Be patient and do the best you can to find times to sleep. Enlist your circle of support to help you get time to rest. Remember, THIS IS TEMPORARY. You and your baby will figure each other out and come up with a routine that works best for both of you!
Always remember, You are capable of amazing things and You are worthy of your wildest dreams!
Until next time, friends!
