Hello friend!
One part of the parenthood journey that you need to be aware of is recognizing the signs postpartum depression. You should never be ashamed of having these feelings. Having a baby comes with a whirlwind of emotions that you may not be able to cope with. It’s important to understand the signs so that you can take the best care of yourself and your baby. It’s okay to seek professional help and you don’t have to do this alone. In this lesson I want to help you see that this condition is very real and very treatable. You don’t have to feel alone and there are people who can help you in this difficult time. Take a listen.
I want to reiterate that it is normal to not feel your best during the early days, weeks, and even months after welcoming a baby. Never feel ashamed to seek out help when you need it. There are people that are ready and willing to help you, so just ask for the support because you deserve it. You don’t have to feel alone. If you are experiencing postpartum depression, seek help and don’t delay. You deserve to be happy with your baby. The moment you don’t feel that way, it may be time to seek out support. Let your family and friends know how you are feeling. You have people who care about you, simply asking for help is the best step to feeling good again.
